According to CTO Andrzej Mazur, the biggest transformation happening right now is not purely technical.

For PacketFront, security has become one of the clearest examples of this shift. It is no longer something added at the end of a project. Today, it shapes architecture, workflows, and operational models from the start.

That same thinking now guides the development of both BECS and BBE. The focus is no longer on increasing the feature count, but on delivering practical value that simplifies operations and improves reliability for operators.
Mazur continues: “The future of OSS is not about adding more layers of complexity. It is about making advanced operations feel simpler, more accessible, and easier to scale.”
Simpler operations, with trust and control built in
PacketFront also sees growing demand for OSS platforms that are easier to operate without requiring highly specialised expertise. Through solutions such as BECS Focus, the company aims to reduce operational complexity through workflow driven experiences that support faster onboarding and scalable operations.
Another area receiving significant attention is AI readiness. While AI introduces major opportunities, it also creates new security challenges for operational systems.
“Speed without governance creates risk. That becomes especially important when AI enters operational systems. Innovation is exciting, but trust and control still have to come first,” Chaj concludes.
To support this, PacketFront is building AI ready architectures around controlled APIs and secure gateways, helping operators explore AI opportunities without compromising governance or operational stability.
