Brian Whittaker is a CIO, IoD-certified director, and qualified brewer whose approach to technology was forged not in theory, but on the brewery floor, delivering digital systems in a Yorkshire brewery where operational reality quickly exposes poor design.
That grounding shaped a pragmatic, outcomes-focused approach to technology. Brian now specialises in closing the gap between business ambition and IT delivery, leading enterprise architecture, digital platforms, and secure, large-scale implementations across international markets.
From ERP optimisation to complex operational systems and digital engineering, he combines deep technical expertise with board-level insight, translating complexity into commercial value and ensuring technology doesn’t just support the business, but drives it.
Ross Parsons – Speaker & panelist
Head of CPE & Orchestration, Southern Communications Group
Ross Parsons is an experienced telecommunications professional who began his career as a Junior Installations Engineer at SCG in 2013. He has since progressed through roles including Technical Support Engineer and Technical Solutions Architect, and now works in Group Network Operations.
With a strong focus on networking, he holds multiple Cisco certifications, including CCIE, CCNA Security, CCNA Routing and Switching, and JNCIA‑Junos, and is recognised for his technical expertise.
