Fibernet, who provide high-quality, fibre-optic-based telecommunications connections to households and businesses, will use the partnership to build a number of FTTH networks throughout Finland. Their first project will be implemented in the Imatra area to ensure fast broadband speeds on new geographical areas currently not covered by existing operators.
Keypro and PacketFront will support Fibernet’s ambitious plans by supplying Keypro’s GIS system, KeyCom and PacketFront’s Business Support System, BBE and their network orchestration tool, BECS.
Fibernet’s CEO Janne Ahola commented on the deal:
“With the help of Keypro and PacketFront we get a complete solution to manage our customers, services and network that significantly reduces our implementation time and risk. For a newly established operator like us these are key success factors that make sure we can start serving our customers fast, in ways that are cost effective and error free”.
